About Us

Eric’s Outboard Marine Service, Inc. was founded in 1986 and is the leading dealer in South Florida for Yamaha Outboard repairs. The first focus of Eric’s Outboard Marine Service business is on service.

We are a Yamaha Authorized Service Center that offers service of motors here on premises and out on-location with our mobile technicians. Our Yamaha Authorized Service Department offers everything from minor tune-ups, annual services and maintenance to major overhauls performed by Yamaha Certified Master Technicians.

With only a handful of Yamaha Certified Master Technicians across the country, we are proud to have two on our staff.

In addition to standard maintenance, we can handle most plumbing & electrical repairs along with complete installations for electronics and accessories for boats, from bow to stern. We also offer dockside and mobile services, as well as vessel pickup and delivery services.

The second part of  Eric’s Outboard Marine Service business is the parts and accessories department. As a Five Star, Key Dealer for Yamaha, we carry exclusively Yamaha Outboard Parts and Accessories, including the full line of Yamaha Lube Lubricants. The on-hand inventory we have assembled is the largest, outside of Yamaha itself. If you are searching for OEM Yamaha part, that seems to be hard to find, we usually have it, or can locate it in a timely fashion.

Business is not limited only to local walk-in customers, as worldwide orders can also be placed thru our website and eBay stores. Our parts department is staffed by experienced professionals focused on getting the customer the right part, the first time and for a fair price. Each employee is trained routinely thru Yamaha Marine University courses.

For generations, South Florida has been a boating hot spot for everything from cruising in the sun to finding the perfect fishing spot. South Florida doesn’t just host a large amount of big charter fishing yachts; the types of boating done in South Florida vary on a wide range. What makes South Florida unique is its geological location, two separate ecosystems on each side and a swamp in the middle. Because of this vast ecological diversity, the waters of South Florida are home to a variety of boats in all different sizes with different applications. You can find airboats in the South Florida Everglades; in the lakes, bass boats, pontoon boats, and small personal water craft; In the canals that run throughout South Florida, fisherman take small aluminum john boats and kayaks to access those hard to get to fishing holes. The South Florida oceans hold some of the greatest fishing and extravagant boats in the country. With all these different varieties of boating options, there is one thing that they all have in common and that is, no matter what kind of boat you are on, you need to always practice proper boating safety.
